This is a great little device for ‘that friend of yours’ who’s always copying DVDs or CDs. The DVD Coach from EZ-Dupe looks to be about as large as the first personal CD players to hit the market, but includes 2 drive trays allowing you to copy DVDs or CDs without the need for a computer.

However it will work just like any other external burner when connected to a PC, and will even allow you to use the drive as a Lightscribe labeler with the proper media. Those who still use audio CDs can even use the DVD Coach’s track editing feature to create a custom audio disc from their own playlist. Unfortunately I have no idea where the name ‘DVD Coach’ comes from, unless it was inspired by the Craig T. Nelson sitcom.

You can find the DVD Coach online and it looks to range in price from about $340 to $460.

SmartNav is a head-tracking device that uses your head motion to move the mouse cursor. It is installed on top of the monitor and the user has to place a dot on the forehead I’m not sure why they couldn’t track the eyes, but the dot is probably more precise, may be because the SmartNav uses a light reflection of some sort.

If you wonder, the head only moves the cursor. To click, the user has to install another accessory, such a foot pedal. I’ll stick to the mouse for now, but this could be useful to someone who has arm/hand/wrist related health issues.

Lets think together. If you already have cool little helicopters that fit in the palm of your hand… what more would you want? Well aside from a free unlocked iPhone that runs 3rd party apps. Right! Fighting, the base level instinctive male behavior that makes all toys better. These Battling Palmsize Havoc Helicopters come in set of two and let you and a friend duke it out “laser tag” style for office air rights. Take to the air from the palm of your hand then use the shoulder button on the remote to fire at your opponent copter. Each shot causes the nose of your chopper to flash with simulated gunfire. The first hit causes your enemy to spin. The second makes the enemy copter lose power… the third cuts rotor power completely as your opponent plummets to the ground as you gloat in victory. However to truly dominate the sky, you’ll need to practice up on your flying skills.

Important Note
You will need to practice up to get good control of these little copters. Dueling can be a tricky business when you’re not an expert pilot. You have been warned!
