Belkin has released a number of protective cases for the 3G iPhone. The above is the Formed Leather case. Ultra-slim formed-leather construction, soft-microfiber lining, opening aligned with iPhone 3G speaker, light and rigid protective layer and available in black and pink. These Belkin cases will be available next month in the US, the same time as the 3G iPhone available for grab.

So do you think the $199 iPhone 3G is cheaper than the current model $399? Well, let’s count. You probably missed out this, the AT&T is raising its minimum monthly service subscription for the new iPhone 3G from $60 to $70. Though it’s just 10 bucks but remember it is a two-year contract 10 x 24, that’s $240. It’s not cheap after all right. Secondly, the new iPhone won’t be able to be unlocked that easily because Apple will not be selling it online anymore. So if you really crazy of getting one, then head to the Apple Store and pick up the 2-year AT&T service contract.

Oslo-based Norwegian jeweler Thomas Heyerdahl has put on some blings on the Nokia 8800 Arte with 112 diamonds, becoming the Nokia 8800 Diamond. Only 100 units were produced and the back will have the numbering engraved of that 100. For specs, it has an onboard 3G capabilities, 3.2 megapixel auto focus camera, and 1GB built-in memory space. The Nokia 8800 Diamond will be available in Heyerdahl’s stores and selected Nokia outlets for about 30,000 NOK ($ 6,000).
